From a single shop to 30+ countries

MumingBuild was founded in 2010 in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, China — a region with a deep manufacturing heritage in coatings, textiles, and wood products. We started as a single retail paint shop serving local homeowners and small contractors.

Over 16 years, we have grown into a multi-factory, multi-category building materials exporter. We now operate 4 certified production facilities across Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Jiangsu provinces, producing 500+ SKUs across 6 main product categories.

Since 2018, we have expanded into international markets, with current active distribution in 30+ countries across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. Our typical buyer is a building materials distributor, contractor, or project developer looking for a reliable Chinese supplier with transparent pricing and consistent quality.

16 Years · From Local Shop to Global Exporter

Key milestones in our journey from a 20㎡ retail shop to an international building materials supplier.

2010Founded

MumingBuild founded in Dongyang, Zhejiang

Mr. Lu opens a 20㎡ retail paint shop on Wuning East Road, Dongyang. Single supplier, single category (interior wall paint).

2012Expansion

Added putty and wood flooring categories

Customer demand for "one-stop" building materials. MumingBuild adds putty, plaster, and engineered wood flooring to product line.

2014International

Authorized dealer for Tikkurila (Finnish Paint) in Dongyang

MumingBuild becomes authorized dealer for Tikkurila Oyj (Finland, 1862), bringing EU-standard M1 certified interior paint to the Chinese market.

2017Factory #1

Built our first self-operated factory (Zhejiang)

Vertical integration begins. We open our first self-operated paint and putty factory, taking control of formulation and quality.

2019Cross-Border

First export orders to Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand

We receive our first 3 international orders, all from Southeast Asian distributors. Total 2019 export value: $1.2M.

2021Scale

Opened 3 additional factories (Guangdong, Jiangsu)

Factory #2 in Guangdong (wood coatings), Factory #3 in Jiangsu (industrial coatings), Factory #4 in Zhejiang (wood flooring). Total production capacity: 50,000 tons/year.

Registered with China's MOFCOM for building materials export. Customs registration code 3317960XXX. We can ship from Ningbo, Shanghai, or Shenzhen ports.

Tikkurila Authorized Distributor Verified

2014-2026 continuous authorization for Tikkurila Oyj products in Zhejiang, China. Authorization letter available on request.

We have been operating a quality management system internally for 16 years, but have not yet completed third-party ISO 9001 certification. Currently in the application process with SGS China. Target completion: Q4 2026.

MumingBuild commits to disclosing the actual status of every certification and claim. Where we say "Verified", we have the original document. Where we say "In Progress" or "Verification Pending", we are working toward it but cannot yet provide a third-party certificate. We do not claim ISO 9001 / CE / EN certifications that we do not currently hold. If a buyer requires a certification we don't have, we'll tell you upfront — not after you place the order.
